It's ok. They are only opposed to illegal guns. I'm sure they're perfectly happy with legal guns.

Read a blog about buying a hand gun in DC. It was a humorous read, tragic went out the window long long time ago.

Where does Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) get the funding to run an advertisement during the Superbowl? It's too bad pro-gun organizations like the NRA aren't able or willing to run a counter advertisement.

Here's a video.

What a joke! Menino starts off saying, "We both support the second amendment".

Thanks!

It seems like Bloomberg is not one of those mayors, since he's against citizen carrying firearms for personal protection.

Did I misspell anything? This is pretty cool:

is redirecting to

What a couple of boneheads. Did they tell you anywhere in the ad that a recent study found that mayors belonging to Bloomberg’s group have been arrested at a much higher rate than Tennessee handgun-carry permit holders, for crimes ranging from perjury and embezzlement to child sexual assault. But there’s no background check for politicians. I would expect similar results elsewhere.

You must have missed the part where it said that Bloomberg puts up most of the money for MAIG from his own $19.5 billion fortune.
