I stopped by Al's to see the blued S&W that Rugersol mentioned... didn't see it. But there was a 63, I think the tag was $725 or $750. Lot's of old cool rimfire stuff in the store.

I'm putting out a S&W 617 (K-22 Masterpiece) with a 6" barrel for 330.00. Great shape (90%+) and includes box.

This is s STEAL for this gun. If you're still looking, this is probably what you want.

(act fast, this consignment gun will probably be gone within hours)

Annnnd sold.

I had a Taurus a few years ago. It was nothing but problems. The cylinder started chipping and I had to send it back to Taurus to get it fixed. They fixed it for free, but I paid $40 to ship it down there and get it back. Gander Mtn isnt cheap... I may have gotten a lemon, but as the old adage says "you get what you pay for" I should have gone with a S&W...

IMO it's hard to go wrong with a SW revolver.

Been putting 50 rounds a day through my LCR-22 since I got it a week ago. I will recommend it if you are looking for an internal hammer snubbie.

Unbelievable. Had I seen this post in time it would've been mine. Most people who sell their 617's want a lot of $$$ for them.

There a buck or two in this one, but it's worth it, and one of my favorites. One where I can pretend to try marksmanship and try to get good groups.
