Bulk 9mm

Postby Tommyboyjfd on Wed Feb 08, 2012 4:52 pm

I'm looking to stock the safe with about 500rds of 9mm for an imminent zombie attack. Anyone else interested in splitting 1000 rounds?

This is the best deal I have found for reloadable brass:

http://www.sgammo.com/product/sellier-b ... -case-ammo

$189.99 plus $16 s&h

If someone knows of brass cased for cheaper please let me know.

If we get 2000 rounds we save on shipping and on each per 1000 box.
Well, when I see 5 weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of 100 people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.

How about the 127 gr ranger plus p plus. The hottest round for stopping zombies? Would you be interested in that?

You can get Federal 9mm at Walmart in 50 (or 100) round boxes for about the same price. The good news is you get better ammo in smaller quantities. The downside is that you have to go into a walmart ....

I just bought 1000 rounds from these guys. Great service! It was on my doorstep 2 days after I ordered.

Truth. I picked up 100 rounds of Federal from Walmart for 19.95 a box.

I rather like the guns I own, so I will be skipping the +p+ ammo. I have witnessed firsthand 2 guns blowup due to unsafe loads. Somehow the operators walked away with only scratches. Their guns did make exciting conversation pieces and paperweights afterwards.

I will have to checkout Wallymart. I have a super secret entrance that helps avoid the crazies. As I know no forum members fall into this category, I will share: Park by the tire shop for close parking and enter in as you would have auto maintenance performed. Shazamm, you are right in the sporting goods section. Buy ammo and walk on back out. Total time 5 minutes.

I do have one other forum member that thought he might have a better connection for price. If this is the case, we will post it for a group buy.

I've only bought bulk a couple of times and used this search tool for finding cost per round shipped.

500 rds is a good range day. You are going to regret splitting those when the zombies show up.

45LC - I don't remember the gun manufacturer. The ammo was a handload packed for a "punch"
.357 - This was a S&W 6", not sure of model. Ammo was a handload packed for hunting...

Both revolvers blew cylinders and ignited nearby bullets. Bridge of both guns buckled upwards. Both were at the range and somehow no one was injured. The .357 was about 4 years ago and the 45LC was about 10 years ago.

I do not see the point in going with a high pressured cartridges without some need. If you want a bigger boom, get a bigger gun. :D
