Here ya go dear. 20" bull barrel.

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=4297 ... rel-Chrome

Complete, ready-to-install, semi-auto receivers let you change your AR-15 from a sporter to a match rifle or long-range varminter in just minutes—or add to a lower receiver to complete a parts gun. All barrels have six-groove, 1-9" right-hand twist rifling and M4-type feed ramp. Pre-ban style standard (Std) barrels are chambered for 5.56mm NATO, with A2 flash suppressor, military-style polymer handguard, and A2 front sight housing that includes bayonet lug and riveted sling loop. AP4 adds to Std configuration the cutout for M204 grenade launcher mount to replicate the contours of the USGI M4 carbine barrel. Bull barrels are stainless steel, post-ban style, and chambered for .223 Remington, with low-profile Picatinny gas block, aluminum free-float handguard, and non-threaded muzzle with target crown. Most models available with standard manganese-phosphate Parkerized bolt or Chrome-plated bolt for additional lubricity and wear resistance.

Just for giggles,

Try a box of m855 62 gr ammo green tip.

Nikon's box and owners manual specifically state 55 grain 3200 fps for the BDC to be close to accurate. Thus... that's what I bought.

Not the scope you're testing. It's the barrel twist.

55gr, I always seen better 1:10 or 1:11. 62gr for 1:9 or 1:8.

It's more from bullet length than anything else.

Nice catch if this is the culprit.

Has this rifle been accurate before, or is this a new rig?

The miltary uses a 1:7 twist for the 62 gr. 855 ammo. Its actually the tracer round that makes it the faster twist otherwise it would be more a 1:8 twist from the papers I have read. The old M193. 55gr used a slower twist.

Its the new ammo in the old barrels that should be an issue. But it's a possible issue.

It's chambered for .223 I wouldn't recommend shooting Mil 5.56 out of it.
I have the same rig, and it is as accurate shooting a 40gr pills as 69gr.
And loves 55gr game kings.

Hope you like the new scope better.

Let's not muddy the waters here any more than they already are.

There's another thread on that argument. It can stay there for that matter.

Ok can someone please either come out and shoot this thing or I can bring it to you and see if you can take it apart and make sure everything is tight and correct? Bore sight? Shooting sled? Something. I had someone else shoot it and they are all over the place too. Science it a ton better though. I go from literally three shots in dang near the same hole to one 3 inches high. Same with other person. Please help me!

On a side note, at least it wasn't the Coyote Special Scope that was the problem.

I would have to believe somehow it is your ring's/mount's giving you issues Ali.

If not, I wouldn't hesitate to send it back to Manuf. and let them evaluate it. I had to do that a few year's ago with a carbine,
would not group at all. 2-3 shot's maybe, after that 6-9 inches. Just so I was sure they wouldn't send me back the same rig I asked for a
longer barrell. Got it back and all was good, then I sold it and switched brands. As frustrating as this is I think you just need another set of eye's on the problem.
There are those occasional times where there just is no reasonable reason and you will try everythign you can think of and thing's just still won't work.
Remember, this is supposed to be fun, when in doubt, send it back to shop.
