Annual Midwinter CZ Shoot

Postby dleong on Sat Feb 04, 2012 10:03 am

The CZ natives posting over in the CZ Addiction thread in the "Handguns" forum are clamouring for a get-together. Sounds to me like it's time to have our "Annual Midwinter CZ Shoot".

Date: Wednesday, February 15th, 2012
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Venue: Burnsville Pistol Range

If you'd like to partake in the camaraderie of CZ ownership, fondle and shoot a wide variety of CZ handguns while laughing at the abysmal marksmanship of your fellow CZ enthusiasts, please add your name to this thread so we'll have a rough idea of the number of people turning up.

As with prior meets, we'll probably shoot for an hour or two, then head over to a local eatery to get some dinner. Any suggestions for a restaurant?

Confirmed attendees (as of February 4th):

LarryFlew
Jeff Bergquist
MnHornet
Rodentman
TH3180 (possibly)
dleong + colleague

Trade places with you? :)

Plenty of time to get one before we meet. Or, you could still come to the meet CZ-less and sample a few to help you decide which one to get.

It doesn't look like I will be able to make it either.

I'm always open for an impromptu session.

If it's nice out, we could visit the Faribault Rifle & Pistol Club, but I can only bring in one or two guests.

I have a DW Sportsman. Does that qualify? Do I qualify? I can bring ammo. Would like to shoot some CZ's...

Anyone who wants to see and shoot a CZ is certainly welcome. Good idea to bring your own ammo of course

I would love to at the very least fondle this. You can certainly shoot my 75B.
This on my calendar. Hope it's not limited to CZ's cause I'd like to bring something Uber fun too.
Looking forward to meeting some of the guys.

It's a "CZ Shoot" in name only; feel free to bring other makes of firearms in addition to your CZs. The more, the merrier.

I plan on bringing a .454 SRH with my CZs.

I might swing by. We will see what's going on with work. I don't have a CZ but I'll pretend.

Just do your best imitation of a CZ logo on the slide with a Sharpie. After the shoot, you can wipe it off with Hoppe's #9. :D
