Got mine this morning. Granted it was at 5:30 when I finished up plowing, so there wasn't any one else there.

Wow, I don't know what to say about this....

http://gunvictimsaction.org/blog/2012/02/an-open-letter-to-starbucks-concerning-your-gun-policy-from-the-faith-community/
An Open Letter to Starbucks Concerning Your Gun Policy From the Faith Community

"Today, we ask you to take the next logical step in corporate responsibility and leadership. Join Disney, IKEA, Peets, California Pizza Kitchen and other chains to ban handguns and other firearms in your stores. It is, as Dr. Holmes has said, a matter of providing an inclusive, supportive and safe work environment, not only for your partners but also your customers. Now that you have made the corporate decision to sell beer and wine in your stores, the issue of public safety is heightened: guns and alcohol do not mix. This past December, a 17-year-old dropped her purse in a Cheyenne (Wyoming) Starbucks and the gun inside went off, the bullet missing a customer’s head by twelve inches. Will it take a death to convince Starbucks to ban guns?

"Surely you recognize the danger of people carrying guns: you do not allow any guns in your corporate headquarters, guns are barred from your annual shareholder meeting and your company policy forbids employees from bringing guns to work. Why would you conclude that it is a good policy to allow gun-carrying customers to be the only ones to bring guns onto Starbucks premises?"

There's more, if anyone cares to read it......
"...the liberties of the American people were dependent upon the ballot-box, the jury-box, and the cartridge-box; that without these no class of people could live and flourish in this country..." ---Frederick Douglass

1: somehow, I rather doubt said 17 year old had a permit and would have obeyed a sign.
2: what POS gun did she have (or how poorly was she carrying it) that it went off when dropped?

Also, time to go buy Starbucks.

the only Starbucks near me is the Lino Lakes Super Target. Knowing the demographic of most people that live in Lino Lakes (myself included), I don't expect any protests!

While I admire Starbuck's stand on the 2A, I just can't bring myself to purchase any of their overpriced boutique coffee.

Perhaps I could still show my support by visiting one of their stores with a 99-cent, 32-oz. mug of coffee from Superamerica...

Interesting. I won't go to Starbucks cause their coffee is low end burned swill.

I bought a few of the desserts they had near the register. I'll give them to my lady friend for Valentines day. 2 birds, one stone.
