Need some help reloading....

I am wondering if there is anyone out there who is willing to help me load up some .45acp rounds. I have all the primers, brass, powder and bullets and just need someone who will help me load up the rounds. I have a Lee Factory Crimp Die I want to use and the person who helps me load is unwilling to let me use the specific die. Please PM me if you are willing to help abd any help would be greatly appreciated.

One question: Have your purchased and read every last page of one of the newer reloading manuals like Lyman #49, Hornady #8, or Speer #14? It's YOUR responsibility to know how to reload safely, and while there are plenty of people in here who are willing to help get you going, no two hour session of hand holding even begins to be a substitute for reading 175 pages of information on how to safely handload. So, is the answer Yes or No?? There ain't no in between on this one. Good on you if the answer is yes, and shame on you if the answer is no.

I have not read 100% of either book but I have enough know how to get everything started. I just need someone to help me out with using their equipment, whoever helps me can set it up........

If you haven't read everything and you don't know how to set up your equipment you do not "have enough know how" IMO. The books and instructions with your dies should tell how to set things up.
If you rephrased your question along the lines of "I just started reloading and I have questions about X" instead of "I want someone to set things up for me" you will get more responses.

Do you have the loading equipment, press, shell holder, scale etc? I have read the post a few times and it sound like you need to have someone help with the loading equipment. I may have read it wrong.

I think what you are trying to say is that you have all of the components and want to use, with help, our reloaders etc.

I don't think that this will fly. I won't let anyone touch my reloaders no matter how experienced they are. Even my kids aren't experienced enough yet to mess with them.

If you want to reload, you must be all in, which means that you have to supply yourself with your own equipment, and also do what Sam posted.

I'm sure all here are ready to advise, and after you are set up, give me a PM and I will be happy to give you hands on advice.

I had all of my own equipment before getting off of active duty but I had to sell it to pay some bills prior to leaving. I totally understand anyone not wanting me to just let me use their equipment. I have been reloading for about five years fully understand everyones concern about their own equipment. The only reason I ask if someone would set it up for me is because I would not want someone else setting up on my equip.

Ryan. I am happy to help if you are willing to drive down to Burnsville. I load lots of .45 on a 1050 do we will start with my standard load then move on to yours. I am blocks away from BPR so depending on activity there we can even go test the load same day. Important step for getting a good load.

Oh, and you already have a potential problem with that jug of Titegroup. It's very possible to double charge a 45 case with that powder, and if you do you can kiss your 45 good-bye forever. (Plus spending $2K in the ER after the gun blows...)

For your .45, I would look into investing in some W231 or WST.

I just picked up a 4# keg of WST at Wolf's Den for $68.00.
