I don't have a CC, just a Debit card. Paypal and Gunbroker wont accept my debit card (Wells Fargo Visas have problems with this). Also I need to sell my Citadel to get the other half of the money.

Gunbroker doesn't handle payment at all.

The guns I've bought on BrokeGunner I've paid for with Money Orders. Just communicate with the sellers before you bid. Most are amiable to other methods of payments.

Whoops, was thinking of netflix (have been having a battle with them for a while). But yea, Gunbroker seems to be kinda overpriced as well (the reserve prices are pretty high on the SR1911s I'm looking at right now).

I looked into SIGs. but the only ones they have that don't have the "SIG slide" are rare and expensive. (also EE and rail on most)

I've been interested in getting a 1911 as well in the same price range. The Ruger and RO are on my short list but I've been looking into Sigs too. I've just recently started getting serious about it and working on expanding my knowledge on all the difference before pulling the trigger. Can you elaborate on the "Sig slide" comment?

Sig has their own "goofy" profile cuts rather than the traditional radius'd top and slab sides.

The SIGs have the weird "P220 series profile" on their slides unless you get one of their "traditional" models.

If you're looking for a defensive gun, then I'd put the RO off the list, the sights that are on it are a bit big for a carry gun (target adjustable) and there are no night sight options. For a target/ fun gun however it is nice.

You know its coming if it hasn't already.

I think they may have gotten it right the first time, this time. I haven't had a whisper of a problem.
The gun eats anything and is accurate. I have dealt with Ruger recalls on other guns.

Thanks for the clarifications. I was looking at the Sig Traditional Reverse 2 tone but I'm not sure I like the front serrations. One just closed on gunbroker for $730.

Well, the problem is solved, I picked up an SR1911 from another member here today, and I'm really happy with it so far.
