I'm coming to the same conclusion myself. While I think Paul would make the best president, I think Romney is our best shot at beating Obama. With the Supreme Court at 5-4 for gun rights and the conservative justices aging (not to mention all the district judges he would appoint), another Obama term could reverse many of the gains of the last 20 years and start another decades-long slide.

We have GOT to beat Obama at the polls this November!

That's funny that someone considers Ted Nugent a "key endorsement".

I also agree that Romney has the best chance to beat Obama. Obama should sleep good at night knowing that. :)

That probably says more about your bias than the actual value of his endorsement. In spite of his personal shortcomings, Nugent has been very dedicated to and effective in promoting the NRA and gun rights on the national and local levels. You can have your personal bias against him, and I am not a big fan of his on a personal level, but the fact remains that he has had a large positive effect on gun rights.

Yeah your right, he'll probably be just as key of an endorsement as Chuck Norris was to McCain/Palin in 2008.

I wonder if Romney knew who Ted was before their meeting.

As much as I respect Ted's fight for gun rights, Romney is not the answer.

I'm tired of replacing crap with slightly better crap, only to lose to slightly worse crap and then repeat it.

I'm tired of crap. Nobody but Paul will actually steer this country away from the cliff.

I had hoped that Nugent could do better than Obama lite. Romney is just more establishment politician. Nothing new here.

It's a numbers game and Ron Paul isn't picking up the delegates he needs, so....best to go with the lesser of two evils....which is dang near every single election!

I'll hold my nose and vote whoever gets the nomination, but we're going to lose to Obama again, and this time he doesn't have to worry about re-election.
Maybe, if we get the house and senate we can control the damage a bit, but he will just do everything by executive order anyway.

I obama wins reelection it means the end of the Republic, simple as that. Not that I think he can single handedly destroy us, but if he gets reelected with his record, it means the takers now outnumber the producers enough so that a Republican can no longer win a national election.
I will never apologize for being an American.

Nice rhetoric. Well done.
