Your Commie gun shoot sounds really stoopid, and I hate guns.

Print out some of these, and you can shoot a commie gun with a commie gun

Would a modified (heavily TAPCO'd) Chinese SKS be allowed to join in the reindeer games?

If I am in town, I'll bring my ex-dragoon over for some range time. I've got a buddy or two who would like to come, but a date and time would be helpful in planning.

Yeah, I hear you. Problem is we need a tentative head count before we can submit for a date.

Kind of a catch .22 ...... Sorry! We hope to have a tentative date ASAP.

I just hope it's not on one of the "Steel Shoot" dates...

If I can bring a gun (M1 Garand) used to kill commie's , I'd probably be in.

Axis and Allies.....weeeeeeeeeeee. I'm pretty sure some commies somewhere probably shot a Garand at some point in its history.

Were M1 Garands part of the lend/lease to the Soviet Union during WW2? I know Tommyguns were, that's another option.

I'd be game for a Commie shoot.

Based on Wikipedia, Cuba and North Vietnam (NV is suspect) used them. Both would make sense from a historical timeline.

Limited Internets search it would appear that the M1 Garand never got distribution to the Soviets during Lend-Lease - a few individual rifles or crates maybe, but nothing wide-spread. The Soviets had their semi-auto battle rifle already, the SVT-40...and ammo wasn't interchangable with the M1 (7.62x54R- .311 rimmed vs. .30-06 .308 rimless). They relied more on the bolt-action nagants and sheer numbers. Semi-auto rifles weren't in wide-spread distribution with the Soviets until near the end of the war.

I'm going to start up a poll for BTDT t-shirts. To sell them at a cost of ~$14-15 each, we'd need 24 people.

I should have some prospective designs done and posted this weekend for voting. Olive drab green with red/black lettering will likely be the main theme....
