I've used a crossbreed (borrowed from a friend to try), and then went with a Galco King Tuk which we both thought was more comfortable and's much it less expensive. Plus, I picked it up locally (Cabela's)

I have worn the Blackhawk CQC for about 5 years for my dress clothes and it works and it lasts. It also looks like fancy leather even though it is not. It looks much better than the picture. Only about $20. They have 1 1/2 and 1 1/4.

You realize that horsehide IS leather, right, or did you mean that your 1 1/2 is horse meat?

I have two of these belts and feel they are excellent, especially for the price. They ship quickly and have lasted a long time.

I ended up picking up a galco belt. Its extremely stiff but is slowly breaking in.
