Yes! Brass comes out gorgeous.
I will have to invest in a depriming tool since I don't want to gunk up my resizing dies.
I've started using a small magnet in the drain hole to catch those few pins that try to go down the drain.
I was concerned about drying the brass, but it comes dry pretty quickly. I suppose rifle cases will take more time.

The first picture is of about 440 cases of 9mm, (two batches) after tumbling.
The second picture is of 12 cases of 9mm after tumbling, and some below before tumbling. Notice the clean primer pockets.

Possible. Depends on the particular alloy.

Lower grades of stainless are magnetic...:)

400 series of stainless steel are magnetic and thus heat-treatable also.

300 series is iffy on magnetic, 304 will be slightly magnetic if using a very strong magnet.

BUT a strong magnet will not catch the ss pins as they go down the drain, as I found out the hard way.

I typically do 500 pcs of 40 or 9mm - and 300 pcs of 45ACP at 1 loading and run for about 6 to 8 hours.
300 pcs of 223
200 pcs of 308
40 pcs of 50BMG

Your result may vary....................

My magnet seems to catch most of the escapees. As far as I can tell, the brass doesn't seem to care about the low quality magnetic ss pins. They're shiny!
Old man, You must have a bigger drum than my 15 lb capacity to do such big batches.
