3-gun pistol

Postby Payne on Thu Mar 22, 2012 10:19 am

I gave Paul Grundhauser from Grundhauser Gun Works my STI because I was having some unexplained jams. Paul was able to repair the butcher job the last guns owner had done to it, and make it look very nice in the process. The words "that's good enough" can't be found in Paul's vocabulary. This is nice. Thanks for taking a piece of coal and giving me back a diamond.

Is that your 38 super or a new one? I can't wait to get a custom gun built by Paul, I'm saving up but it will be a while.

Looks good!

Looks damn good. Couldn't keep up to you when your gun was jamming, now I'm really screwed. Maybe someday when I'm wealthy, I'll get myself a custom blaster.......So I better get used to shooting my XDm 5.25 :)

So what all did you have done? The lightening cuts in the slide are new aren't they?
So new rifle, new Glock and an overhaul onthe STI.....there must be a lot tickets getting wrote out in Princeton these days, remind me to steer clear

Chris

When it is time to get a good handgun, don't go the cheap route and purchase one off of Gunbroker. I could feel something wasn't perfect with the gun when I first shot it. Paul looked at it for about 10 seconds and could see right away that the barrel was not fitted properly and the gun was beating itself to death.

New barrel and several other items that needed attention and I have a new gun that looks and runs great.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda? I wish I would have just had Paul build me one from the start. It would have saved us both a lot of head aches.

On a good note, I did learn how to conduct rapid malfunction clearance drills. :D

Nice rig!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Thank you for the kind words, everyone.

Brian, we wish you the best of luck with the rebuilt pistol, and we appreciated the opportunity to work on your firearm.
