For those curious the left side chrome covers are nice and shiney thats a reflection of the crappy driveway.

I used to have one of these bikes a few years ago, it was a 2004.

That 805cc liquid cooled V-twin is very strong and gets great gas mileage.

Reliable as the SUN; goes years and years w/o needing anything other than oil changes. (Japanese V-twins are famous for that)

Parts are cheep and plentiful...not that you will ever need them.

just sold my 02 vl800 great bike for beginners and seasoned riders as well, its got the looks of a bigger bike, but easy to control as the smaller bikes low seat height you'll always be able to plant both feet on the ground. the 805cc has plenty of power at least on mine things got a little sketchy when you hit 100.

Also has padded sissy bar but not useable with the rear trunk.
