2nd Annual Permit to Carry Charity Class - Breast Cancer

Postby Paul on Tue Apr 03, 2012 1:25 pm

Hello friends, I am pleased to announce our 2nd annual permit to carry class for charity!

This year we have decided to do a class to benefit a breast cancer related cause. All proceeds from this class will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Breast cancer is a disease that has greatly impacted my family, and I'm sure most of you know of someone who has battled this disease.

The class will be held on May 26th at 9 a.m. at The Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club in Prior Lake. They have been nice enough to donate the classroom space to us for this event. The minimum donation to attend the class is $30, but you may donate more if you are willing and able to.

This class is limited to 30 students, due to space limitations. If we get an overwhelming interest in the class, we may add an additional class date/time.

For more information, or to register for the class, please visit: http://www.bluelinedefense.com/charity/

Thanks and we hope to see you on May 26th!

This is great! Awesome cause. I just had my girlfriend sign up. She is pretty excited. Do I need to register if I just want to tag along? (I already have my permit, and plan to make a donation I just dont want to take up space for others by registering)

You should be fine without registering. We should be able to squeeze a couple of more chairs in there, if you would like to sit in.

Is the donation on top of the standard class fee? I would love to take the class while supporting this charity.

Good question.

No, the only "fee" is the donation you will be making to the charity. We are not charging anything beyond that for the class.

I did this last year with Blue Line Defense along with my mother in law and neighbors. This is a GREAT deal, folks.

Paul and the gang at Blue Line Defense are good instructors, too. ;)

Didn't see this mentioned so I thought i'd ask - Will there be guns available for rent at this class?

I'm not sure about this, but can pregnant women get in? Not sure if shooting is good for them. I really want my wife to get her permit.

I took your last charity class and it was AWESOME!

It's best to wait, Lima has a good write up on this topic.

Not recommended ..........one reason is that you can't protect the baby's hearing. Wait.

I will give her a class for the cost of range/classroom fee's (25) if she waits
