I carry the CM9 daily also and for you jokers who are skeptical on longevity...I have close to a 1k rounds through it...Have had no feed issues with standard ammo., but did have a ftf on cheaper hp's...Stick to the critical defense...Installed the night sights from Kahr...As far as the PM9 and the polygonal barrel imo it's a joke for a self defense handgun period...

Knowing that you are a Glock guy, I was looking for the VOR why the 26 wouldn't work for you.....and you as always came up with a good reason.

Anyone of the Kahr products that I have shot have always gone bang when the trigger was pulled.

I hear you there. For the life of me, with all the models Glock has come up with and put out, I have no Effing clue why they haven't gotten it through their brain to make a single stack 9mm to compete with every other pocket 9mm out there. You'd have thought they'd be quicker to the market than they have been so far. Maybe Glock wants to let somebody else have a shot at Market Share for once :D

Glock made comment about 2 years ago that they were going to develop a single-stack .380, 9mm and possibly .40S&W gun to compete with the other pocket rockets. They originally thought it was a bad idea, but since the G36 has outsold the G30 by drastic numbers, and the way that Kahr, Ruger and others are making a killing on micro-carry pistol sales, Glock supposedly got the hint. However, I have not heard anything further about this. I assume it's a project that's on the same shelf as their "black rifle" project that was supposed to come to fruition. We'll see...

I see. Never saw that I guess. Well, if they come out with one, I'll probably have a CM9 for sale if the little sucker stands up to my current expectations for a Glock.

half inch too tall from grip to rear sight for it to easily come out of my pockets. Either need bigger pockets or smaller guns, or skip pocket carry. :(

Granted, size of gun might not matter so much if I had smaller hands.

ETA: Hang on a second, I thought the height spec on the XDs was 4.4'' not the 4'' shown there. Roger, checking...

None of this was ever officially made public. It was rumored from the factory through to the armorers.

Height...width...length...more crucial imo...is the width

^^^^IIRC it is 1 inch wide... Been a while since I've buried my head in one of the guns rags and saw the ad for them.

I carry the CM 9 daily and it is great. Never had a malfuntion, shot about 500-600 rounds through it using a variety of target and PD ammo. Great gun, shoots pretty nicely once you train on the long trigger pull for a little while.

Glock will need to do some serious redesign to make a pistol as narrow as the Kahrs. It's not just the difference between a single stack and a double - a single stack Glock would still be quite a bit fatter than a Kahr.
