I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Much smaller, single-stack, no rails, no backstraps, and cheaper. More the size of a LC9 Ruger or Kahr

It looks like this is going to be a single-stack offering for the M&P line. Should come in at .8-.9 in thickness, which always makes for a nice carry piece. Today is the official release date, so we should know more shortly.

I love my Kahr CM9 but this looks like a very nice alternative.

See, I want this in a single stack, short grip, long slide, multiple backstrap gun. I already own a small pocket 9. I want a slim IWB carry M&P

Looks interesting. Manual safety. Width of 0.8 to 0.9 is very nice. I would guess barrel is 3 inch.

Web site says 47 minutes 30 seconds to release.

Lot of small 9mm's to choose from lately. This adds one more.

Always liked Kahr P9 size carry guns. I prefer single stack since they are more comfortable to carry.
Because I care, I carry.

I'm test firing this in a couple hours, and hopefully have them in store by the weekend. Price is going to be 400-425 or so

cool deal - interested to hear how it rocks.

why everyone gotta be putting those damn manual safety's on small pocket guns? is Kahr the only one who has a single stack no external safety? i hate those damn things - i want a true point and click interface!!!

Super comfortable gun to shoot - way nicer than Kahr or Kel-Tec. Recoil felt almost like a full-size M&P to me. Very accurate for it's size. Safety is small and not the easiest to sweep off (if you use it). Does not have a mag disconnect safety, thankfully.

Comes with one short and one extended mag.

Slide-stop and safety are not ambi but mag release can be swapped.

Has real freekin sights!

My Kel-Tec PF9 doesn't have a safety.

two questions-
a) was it the 9 or the .40 you test fired?
b) WHY DO THESE ALWAYS LAUNCH WHEN I'M BROKE?!?!?!
