Protesting is SO un-American! Those ungrateful losers should just leave the country if they don't like the way things are!

I don't know why you need to post such vulgar comments. If the protesting bothers you just look the other way Heffay. You don't know their economic situation and shouldn't be judging them. You sound like a bigoted pink pony.

How about switching to a credit union you stupid hippies? I've had an account at one since I was a kid, they've never screwed me over and it's a voluntary choice. If no one banked with the big banks they'd go out of business or stop screwing people over to attract more customers. How's that for change you can believe in?

No, we give these big banks charter, special Fed rules and let them be quasi monopolies, and hire lobbyists to pay legislators and regulators so they can all follow the same basic pattern without competition. I think we should be free to publicly protest the situation.

Typically, the only protests that large corporations notice are the ones that hit them directly in the pocketbook. What better way to protest than to take your money elsewhere and convince your friends to do likewise?

Maybe they've already done that, and are now letting other people outside their circle of friends know what's going on so they too can take action? Maybe that's what all the yelling is about?

Technically it's counter-trolling, since the original post was a troll post. Off-topic, wrong forum, inflammatory, righteous indignation... pretty much textbook right there.

This is the "In the news" forum... Linking a local news story including my take on the same story having observed the event in-person is pretty much as on-topic and forum appropriate as it gets.

How's the free Glade sample working out for you?

There was at least one "Justice for Travan Martin" sign in the mix with the "No more Foreclosure," "Free Tibet" and "Got Milk?" signs. Luckily the total lack of focus by the protestors makes it pretty well fit any category you want to put the story in.

Tried, I kept losing my monacle on those hard checks into the board and since my wife has a serious Monopoly fetish I decided to stick with the Rich Uncle Pennybags routine.
