Fleet Farm....Handguns

Postby unit44justin on Sat Apr 21, 2012 5:19 pm

Looks like Fleet Farm might be expanding their handgun section very soon. I was just in the Lakeville store today and there were 2 empty sections in the counter display case right next to the 2 full sections. Keep a look out! :bravo:

Hopefully they do this at Owatonna. I don't think I've ever been to any other FF yet, but we go there at least once every couple of weeks.

It's true we are adding more and more to our firearms departments of the stores. I don't have all the models off hand but we looked into what's popular and in demandand are trying to get what people want.

Thanks for supporting our stores.

I noticed a section of shelves that had been cleared next to the handguns at the Brooklyn Park store. Hopefully those shelves will be full of handguns next time I go:)

BTW, I picked up some Remington UMC 9mm Luger MC for $11.99. They had a bunch of it on an end cap, I almost walked right by it. That's about the best price I know of locally at the moment. There was Federal American Eagle 9mm for $11.88, but I bought the last one on the shelf:) I might have to make another trip later in the week to stock up on some more UMC or American Eagle if they have it back on the shelves. That's about the same price as the Federal Champion at Wal-Mart right now.

I love that Fleet Farm is expanding their firearm sections.

THey didn't have much in the economy handgun ammo at the lakeville location a week ago. I'll have to check the next time we stop by. Need to get some more to replace what I've been shooting.

Have you considered handloading/reloading?

Yes I have considered it. I was looking for 9mm. As soon as I can afford to get into and have the time also. I need to get the manuals and READ them first. So after that I would probably start with the .45LC. I would also like to observe someone reloading so can see everything involved.

I noticed that a few weeks ago, and a few weeks before that, and a month before that. If you happen to notice the shelves fill up with .38spl, please let me know.

At LEAST 3. Unless you want to blow your **** head off, and kill everyone that is on the range with you.

I was at the Lakeville FF yesterday on yet another animal crackers run, and noticed the new but empty handguns display case.

That display case needs to be filled, ASAP.

(Oh, and another vote here for FF carrying reloading supplies!)
