Comp-Tac is now making holsters for the Shield. Don't be a tool, get an MTAC.

I haven't shot one yet but got to check it out. Very nice little pistol. I have a Kahr and like that and have always been hoping for Glock to do a single stack 9/40 line. Hopefully this will add fuel to the fire, competition and choices are always great for the consumer. I'm also really looking forward to Springfields XDm single stand 9 compact offering, I think this market of small single stack 9s is great.

One failure to go into battery... but maybe I rode the slide, I dunno.

Was shooting about 6" groups left of POA at 25ft due to that heavy trigger, but I think I've got that figured out. Was shooting 3" groups at 25ft yesterday.

I witnessed Tizzo shoot one of those groups.

One of my instructors brought his new M&P Sheild out to class over the weekend. Seems like a neat little gun. I wrote up a short review on my blog:

What kind of prices are we seeing locally?

I've seen $449 to $510. Someone posted Gunstop was $399. MSPR from SW is $449.

$449 + tax @ Coyote Creek in Roch. I think I go the only one. They said that it just came in.

You must have bought it shortly after I handled it at the shop. ... you might want to sanitize that! :)

I'm also betting if you picked up the phone and called Smith & Wesson they would sell them to you.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

These look like nice little guns but I think the next distribution of Bobergs is going to catch up with my name on the list. :D

M&P Shield

Postby SleepingJake on Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:43 pm

The only one I've found is one in 9mm, a caliber that I don't currently load. I'd rather pick one up in 40 S&W.

Thanks for the links mr vvrroomm! :) I had searched a few days ago, but only came up with 'out of stock' places. Plus yours were a couple of fun sites to wonder around, lol.
