Historic Fort Snelling Military History Timeline

Postby Timmer2183 on Fri May 25, 2012 10:02 pm

Historic Fort Snelling in the Twin Cities is having their annual Military History Timeline this Monday (Memorial Day). If you are interested in military firearms, come out to the fort and see the timeline. There will be soldiers represented from the American Revolution to modern day. There will be blank firing demos of the various historical weapons at 12:00 and 3:00. I have participated in this event for the past 18 years and its a very cool thing to see if you are in town and available.
The Historic Fort does have an admission charge, but its not more than a movie. So if you are interested in seeing some cool historical guns this weekend come out to Historic Fort Snelling, and if you do come out say hello to me, I will be representing the Vietnam era soldier.

Have a happy Memorial Day weekend,

That's a very cool thing you're doing, and wish I could've been there.

It's one thing to read history or watch it in a movie, but it's so much more meaningful when you can actually see it in person.
