where to buy 2500+ rounds of 9mm ammo

Postby builttoughf350 on Sun May 27, 2012 5:47 pm

I have one more item to part with then all the cash is going to 9mm ammo. I prefer winchester white box, or federal 115 grain FMJs just for plinking,

I would like suggestions on which local places to get it, or if I just need to order from an online retailer.

thanks !

I buy those kinds of quantities from Palmetto State Armory - no place to do so locally. I note that they're selling WWB for $11.99 for 50rounds, no sales tax charged, and for the first time I've seen, the shipping (normally $12) was free.

Let John hook you up. I got a 1,000 rounds of the independence ammo from him, and it's been great so far.

Sgammo.com and ammuntiontogo.com are my go-to sites for 1000rnd quantities.

I can load 2500 rounds in less than 5 hours.

When buying ammo off the internet does the ammo have to be shipped to a FFL dealer...

I have a single stage RCBS which I load 5-6 different rifle calibers on, typically match ammo, but i dont know if I can justify buying a press set up for mass pistol reloading yet.....

Shameless plug, but we have American eagle 9mm on sale for $10.49 a box. If the store doesn't have 25 boxes in stock they will give you a rain check and hold them for you when they arrive. When they call I think they hold it for 10 days but I'd have to double check. We really try to keep our ammo prices competitive, when you consider shipping in many cases we are cheaper then online. The rain check though for out of stock sale ammo, no limit by the way generally, is the hidden gem of fleet farm. I say generally because people have abused it or have been caught reselling etc. Also if you ask a clerk many times they can get you a case so it's easier to store haul etc if they have cases in the back.

Thanks, Dave
