I have had great results with Krylon Satin finish spray paints in thin coats. I have a Springfield XD that is a Guinea pig for about anything I want to try because that is what Springfield XD's were made for. Well, it really worked well and it lasts. Best of all, if I really want it off a little acetone brings it back to stock and I can try it again. Almost makes me want to shoot it more..... Nah.... maybe.

Hahahaha doesnt sound like you love it much! Did you leave the gun togeather whem you painted it, or did you just paint slide and frame? Do you use sand paper on it first or just degrease? Haha i love having guns around for testing!
