It is a scam. I get these same emails from armslist and craigslist all the time. The reply is too general and vague.

Good thing I didn't respond. His fake selling price was $350. I picked up a good condition 1100 20 gauge locally for $275 today.
A few 1911's, two crazy boxers, a fast car and a half fast driver.
