Any lefties convert to right handed shooting?

I'm not a full blooded lefty, I do some things right handed so shooting right handed isn't too weird for me and I do OK at it. I feel I could easily make the switch if I set my mind to it.

Couple things however:
1. It's more natural for me to reach for my gun with my left hand.
2. I'm left eye dominant.

I realize these two things would be pretty simple to overcome with practice, but is it worth it?

Advantages:
1. Holsters are easier to find.
2. Almost all guns are right handed, if not ambidextrous.

Additional thought:
1. You don't need to change holsters often if you buy the right one(s) the first time.
2. In a time of stress, will training prevail over natural instinct?

I need to explain my vote though.

I am left handed. I grew up with three older brothers, all right handed. All the bows in the back yard, the bb guns, everything I was taught how to do right handed. I've only ever shot right handed, though a rifle I can switch eyes easily enough, makes sitting in the stand more versatile.

Since you're already set up both in training and in mind to shoot left handed, stick with it. You'd probably end up having more difficulty especially in a high stress situation remembering to grab the gun with your right hand.

My $0.02 take it for what you paid for it.

I say stay with what feels natural. It is what will work best for you.

I shoot right handed, use tools as a right hand dominant person would and I am right eye dominant. But I write left handed.

the way that worked for me,
1: Have some crazy person in srebernicia to shoot you in the left arm
2: Spend three or so years in physical therapy
3: Hey presto, you are right handed

If you are left eye dominant then you should probably be shooting with your left hand, why fight your biology that much?

Both my wife and I are left handed and have never had issues finding holsters or other equipment and you can find plenty of lefty friendly guns in any gun type (I can give you some suggestions if your are getting stumped.)

Besides if you shoot left handed you get to give your RO grief all the time for lining up behind you on the wrong side when shooting matches!

I am left handed, but I swing a bat and golf club with my right hand side. It just feels more natural to me. My shooting is the same way. First time I shot a gun I automatically did it with my right hand. I am also right eye dominant but I have shot left handed. It's not hard for me to switch to my left hand but it feels less natural and I choose to do what I'm more confident with.

Left handed, right eye dominant. Not too hard to adjust your head a bit when you're shooting isosceles.

Even with some of the new pistols able to switch magazine release to the other side, i wouldn't bother. I'm used to hitting it with my index finger anyhow, and I overhand grip the slide to release, so I don't use the slide stop. Revolvers are a little more tricky, but I switch the weapon to my right hand to fill it, then switch back. I can always shoot right handed if caught in that situation, of course.

left eye dominant, right handed -kind of. It depends on what I'm doing.... writing, shooting, eating, that's all right handed.... but now swinging a bat, golfing, throwing, catching, that's all left handed.

Yeah, after thinking about it the only positive is holster selection... being left handed almost forces you go buy a quality holster and reduces the impulse buys.

I am a lefty and right eye dominant. I shoot pistols right handed and rifles and shotguns left handed though... have pace maker in right shoulder and don't need a shotgun going off on it... I also don't feel natural shooting rifles and shotguns right handed but do ok with handguns which I can shoot with either hand..
