Robert Vogel, 2 Day Practical Pistol Applications Class

Postby IDPA Shooter on Sun Jun 17, 2012 5:38 pm

We are very pleased to announce that we have arranged for one of the top competitive shooters in the world top come to the Twin Cities on September 29th and 30th. Until last month Robert was a full time police officer and member of his department's SWAT team. This course is designed to teach you defensive handgun skills from a World Class shooter ( ISPC and IDPA World Champion) who goes into harms way in the real world.

Yes , we have a night shoot and 20 hours of class and range time. We also meet Robert for dinner Friday evening so he gets to know you and what you want from the class. This is primarily a range course , you need 500 rounds for each day and another 200 to 300 for the night shoot. Class size is limited to 12 people and Jon and I have our names on 2 of these 12 spots. Cost is $550 and you can expect the same organized professional classes we deliver from Farnam, Seeklander and Quill.

Additional details at http://mnguntrain.net/rvogel.pdf. Details on range and hotel arrangements are pending and will be published shortly.

Note - You need to have solid safety skills, and already know how to draw, move and shoot accurately and rapidly. Robert is a Grand Master in several USPSA divisions and a Distinguished Master in several IDPA divisions. This is not a basic class. Please send some of your handgun skills details so we can assure all 12 folks in the class will benefit from their participation and support learning by other class members.

We have 5 seats sold out of 12. We now have the range, the beautiful Monticello Sportsmen's and will soon have rooms at the Country Inn and Suites.

Note that this is an Intermediate level defensive skills class. If you know how to draw safely and move with your pistol, you are ready for this class! Need a tuneup or maybe some formal training, see Don Larson, Erik or now Jon and I for a Level one skills class and be ready for Robert Vogel's class this fall.

While Robert is one of the wold's best competitive shooters, this is not an ISPC, USPSA or IDPA class. These skills are certainly valuable, but Robert's class will hone in on defensive skills, with a focus on Robert's police and SWAT team background and world class pistol skills.

Want an IDPA competitive skills class, one slot left in Mike Seeklander's Sept 15 and 16 class

Still have 7 seats left in Robert Vogel's Practical Pistol shooting Class Sept 29 and 30. http://mnguntrain.net/rvogel.pdf That's $550 for 1200 rounds with Robert who can do the FBI stop drill aka the Mozambique in .97 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8QrWm3Acc0

I'm guessing a few of us on the forum can clear the holster in .97 seconds, I know I can't. Should I have tried to get Jessie instead ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGH-DSU8IWA

Down to 4 sorry now its just 2 seats remaining for 20 hours of training with a World Champion shooter police and SWAT officer Robert Vogel. This a a defensive pistol class Sept 29 and 30 for $550 at Monticello Sportsmen's that only requires solid safety skills and the ability to draw from the holster and move safely. The flight and hotel to a Gunsite or Thunder Ranch would cost you more. Waqt to train with a world class shooter who is modest and has the reputation as a patient and skilled instructor? You can register on line here http://www.mnguntrain.net/test%20one.htm.

By request we now offer a credit card option for this class, but you pay the 3% processing fee or !5 for a total of $565 for the class. Just comment you what credit card and we will arrange it.

Fantastic class!!!

Robert Vogel is a world champion, but also is a down to earth guy that really took the time to work individually with all of us that attended his class. Bob and Jon have been and will continue to bring some of the world's top shooters/instructors to Minnesota for those of us that care to learn from the best. It is a fantastic opportunity to be able to train with these guys and I am amazed that more people do not take advantage of it. To all those that didn't sign up for the class, your loss. Great to see some familiar old faces and good to meet a good group of new fellow shooters, I look forward to with you all again.
