This is the same Obama who, when he was running for president, attacked the idea of hiding behind executive privilege?

FLASHBACK 2007: Obama Attacked Trying "To Hide Behind Executive Privilege" - YouTube!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpwYh9TD6Nc&feature=player_embedded#

If the democrats can be lied to, so can the republicans. Whatever your candidate is telling you today can be total garbage, tomorrow... Ask yourself; does my candidate have a long and solid record of supporting the Constitution? I don't care if he's a 30 year Senator from Texas with his bumper stickers everywhere, or a small business owner from Shakopee nobody's heard of; that's my kind of candidate not only for president, but for senator, congressman, state representative, mayor, or school board member! They don't get to give lip service to upholding the Constitution on inauguration day and then do as they please the rest of their 'service'...

The next phase to this, after the GOP get us good 2Aers all stirred up, is that the "left" is going to enjoy having us support the idea that the "gun control" laws broken by the adminstration would have prevented the bloodshed. Yeah, right. The Mexican druggies have, and have alwys had, access to the Mexican arm weapons.

Don't support the existing gun conrol laws by taking this bait. It's a two part strategy. Watch and see.

If this is Obammy going to the mat for Holder, one wonders what Holder has on Obammy..... :wack:

I bet the legend of Barry Sotero will resurface. For those who don't know; that's Obama's supposed "real name".

The thing to really wonder about is that Obama's defense of Holder will just bring them both down. He almost certainly can't save Holder at this point.

Unfortunately, we are a nation with a very short attention span. It is unlikely to affect Obama beyond a week in the press and Holder will survive if he wants to, but he has been giving tons of indications that he is ready to leave. Even the contempt charge is worthless since it requires the Justice Department to enforce it, which they won't -- just like was done during the previous administration.

Regardless of whether it is right or wrong, this is all for show. :secret:

Not that I'm Surprised :o But just went thru the whole Mankato Free Press, and not any mention of 0bama's executive privilege to be seen! Maybe I'm wrong, and it may have been in yesterdays? But that's not possible, since this story happened yesterday during the day! Now Maybe its not the biggest news to some, But big news none the less.

A very in-depth article on Fast and Furious, well worth reading:

http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2 ... ?hpt=hp_t2

"A Fortune investigation reveals that the ATF never intentionally allowed guns to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. How the world came to believe just the opposite is a tale of rivalry, murder, and political bloodlust."

Wow. Nice work by Fortune. Kind of changes everything around.

If this is true, it's interesting that Holder is admitting that it happened as a tactic to end the controversy. Admitting guilt when nothing illegal happened. Politics in America has gone completely bonkers.

Is anyone surprised when we elect a politician from one of the most corrupt states (Illinois) that any of this is happening? Or that much worse may yet unfold? You get whats you paid for.
