Mosin Build Off: Trophy's are DONE! Get ready...

Postby Shipyard on Sun Jun 24, 2012 7:41 pm

finally finished off the trophy's for the mosin bubba build. thanks to 45Badger for donating the initial stock to us so we could have some cool ****.

also thanks to badger for donating the biog box o' mystery booze that i'll be toting with for after the shooting also :P

and before you ask - the answer is yes. that IS a 1:38 scale plastic mosin rifle in the center of the trophy. what can i say - i keep's that **** classy as all get out son!

1st place:

and 3rd - and before you complain about the total bubba ******* of this trophy, i have two responces:

firstly - this is the bubba build off, what the **** did you expect?

secondly - if you wanted a better trophy, you should have built a better (or crappier, i forget which...) gun!!!! :P and yes, that is sharpie on the tag plate. deal with it. it's awesome.

Shippy,

Given the people involved with this adventure, I think the trophies are a little too classy. They look good don't get me wrong. I especially dug the sharpie on the third place trophy. The mental picture I had going to way back when was something along the lines of that one and a bunch of jb weld and some mosin scraps attached to it.

Nice Shippy!

I've been following the build off and I have to say...that third place trophy is looking more like a first place bubba trophy to me.
If you are reading this, there is a better than average chance that you are a d-bag.

I rather enjoy having nice things, but recently have decided against it.

Reason being is any time I get something nice, you come over and throw a hammer through it.

Watch out for you sweet coffee table. A piece of glass that big has got to be hard for him to throw something at it. Good thing it's not on it's like a window  .

One of the last times Shipyard graced my household with his presence, I actually had a hammer sitting on the coffee table after finishing up a household project. I heard him knock on the door, looked down at the hammer and thought to myself.. "Oh ****, I'd better move that in a hurry!!"

I know I'm pretty new here but this sounds like fun. Hoping its ok to come as long as someone gives some directions. If not cool please let me know, its a long drive from my neck of the woods. I can even post a pic of my work in progress (sorry, didn't know about any deadline) but I don't want to make anybody feel bad. I have about $150 into it at this point.
