good holster

I have a glock 22 with black hawk holster, holster sticks out not very concealable as you can see it. threw my cloths
I was wanting to know what is a good holster one that is much more concealable then blackhawk.

Like last night I was at my local park for fireworks I walked to bathrooms was about 10 cops standing at there conman center they seen my gun being bulky threw my cloths next thing i knew I was surrounded by 8 cops asking if I was armed. I simply said yes I have permit to carry.

If any has any pics what kinda holster there using Would be very helpful

Maybe I'm the minority but I don't worry if it can be seen or not. I have my Nano which can never be seen but carry my 92 and it's obvious I'm carrying. I just have the attitude that it's totally normal and I've never had anyone even give me a side glance. The reason I like MN is its a carry state not a conceal state.

i've got a Tagua Leather for my 1911. OWB holster with thumb break. i've only had a handful of people notice when i've got a flannel or similar shirt on to cover it. granted, i don't wear flannels when it's nearing 100 effing degrees outside, but that's when a light button down shirt comes out.

also, i think that the Tagua holster is just as nice as any offerings from Galco or Bianchi.

if you want to TRUELY conceal that bad boy, get an IWB style like the Sideguard that Straddy recommended. or a King Tuk or something similar. those Serpa holsters are great for a fast draw and relatively comfortable carry, but they are pretty garbage for concealment. now, it's also been said that you don't NEED to conceal it, but obviously you'd like to.

I had a Galco King Tuk for my G23.

You could also try Remora holsters.

For OWB, I've used a Desantis and it was nice.

Pick up a crossbreed. I have one and it's very comfy. Btw I carry xd9sc and I'm a big guy and it's still very comfy. Iwb at 4o'clock

I would get a crossbreed I have 3 of them they are great! I just got one for a G30 from the crossbreed seconds store for $43 shipped and it looks brand spanking new.

A crossbreed is the only IWB holster I would ever buy. The Galco is slippery on the inside and can slide around on hot, sweaty days. Crossbreeds break in nicely and hug your body perfectly without moving around. Plus they warranty them forever in case you ever bend a snap like I have seen on the Galco IWB.

Always start with the belt. I'm personally partial to the Looper Kydex reinforced belt available through BladeTech and http://www.unholstered.com, but there are many other quality belts out there from the Beltman, Kramer, Tucker and Wilderness just to name a few. Some people swear by Galco belts but I've personally had bad luck with them, the one I had stretched out badly in only a year.
Another thing to think of is the width of the belt. I prefer 1.5" since that is the widest belt I can fit through the belt loops on all my pants. If you wear a lot of dress pants you'll have to check but most of those are 1.25" belt loops. There are 1.75" and even 2" belts but those generally won't work for anything other than Jeans and workpants.

IWB holster: I have an MTAC by Comp-Tac I love for my Glock 21 and a Quick Clip from Sideguard Holsters for my Taurus 650 revolver. If I were buying another IWB for either of those guns it would probably be a Double Clip like Strad posted earlier for either of them.

OWB Holster: I have a Double Snap from Sideguard for my Glock that I use for competition but really have my eye on a Bianchi Carrylok for it. I've seen guys put full size 1911s in them and they conceal better than most IWB holsters.

Bottom line, there are very few holsters which would be less concealable than a Blackhawk but there are some OWB that conceal very well and some IWB that are very comfortable. It's all about personal preference.
