Recommendations on good hunting clothing?

I will check my bin of hunting clothes to see if I have anything that might fit your boy from when I was skinny. I might have something you could borrow for the season. If I don't I know for a fact that I have a blaze orange hunting vest with pockets that you could borrow for yourself or the boy. I will check my stash and see what I have. I can also check with my family (big into hunting) and see if any of them have any extra stuff that I could get for you. No promises, since my family hoards hunting gear. But I can try.

One thing I forgot to mention. Try second hand stores i.e. Unique, Bethesda(seen hunting clothes at these places) can't remember if I've seen anything at Goodwill.

Target sells their Duo Dry brand athletic clothing - its basically inexpensive poly-pro long underwear. Pick up the long under-wear (tights) and long-sleeve upper and you've got yourself a reasonably warm pair of moisture wicking base layer thats good for the mid-late fall woods of MN. I would shift to something warmer for truly frigid...but its served me well the past 6 years - and its WAY cheaper than buying a dedicated set of longjohns from somewhere like Cabels/REI/Gander.

FF has Lacrosse Alphaburly muck boots on sale for $85 through the 4th. Those are good boots at a very good price if ya need em.
