PM Notifications

Anyone else have an issue with new PM's not showing in the notifications area (0 new messages) for example? I had 3 new PM's and had no idea they were there until I happened to go to send a message and saw them.

I get an e-mail sent to me when I get a new PM but the indicator at the top of the page is unreliable at best. I think tapatalk clears it when it queries the site to see if there are any new PM's.
