Of all states, my brother picks....

North Dakota to move to.

Grrr...

How do we make North Dakota green so we can carry there? It's not even a real state, maybe that's why. :mrgreen:

I realize Illinois would be worse, but still...

Guess I should have sent in for that Utah permit when I had the chance.

AZ. or FL. would be the easyest now, AZ the cheepest of the two.

There's also New Hampshire.
It's real easy, just send their form, a copy of your MN permit & DL, and $100 and they mail you a 4 year non-resident permit that's good in ND.

They used to be $25 which made them real popular, but are still reasonable since you don't have to pay for passport photos or fingerprinting.

Their application is at:

ND has some strange restrictions on where you can't carry.
* Any public owned park (where hunting is not allowed, so pretty much any city park.)
* Athletic or sporting events (assuming this is at any level)
* Concerts.
* Churches or church functions.
* Political rallies or functions.
* Any publicly owned or operated buildings (including rest stops)

There are a few other places too, but these ones stood out to me compared to what we have in MN.

Utah is more initially, but with a $15 renewal cost, it can be cheaper in the long term if renewed a couple of times.
