Botach Tactical, BOOOOO

Not real happy with this retailer. On Thursday 6/28, I placed an order for couple mags for my new 1911. At the same time I ordered some other parts from Brownells.

My Brownells box ARRIVED today.

Botach sent me a Backorder notice today.

I guess I should have just spent the extra $1 with Brownells instead of trying anew retailer.

Their customer service is *********** and they just suck as a company in general. I did place a second order with them but I called and emailed multiple times to make sure they actually had the parts in stock before I placed the order

They just have some good prices on stuff on occasion.

Their prices are great, but almost everything on their site is backordered and cancelling backordered items from them is difficult at best.

Not recommended.

I had heard em over on barfcom too, yet a good price sucked me in

I ordered a bunch of Magpul stuff from them earlier this summer and didn't have a problem. Everything came in the mail and it was all what they said it was. Maybe I got lucky? Prices were good, $11ish each for Pmags.

Edit: I do wish I would have known they were from Kalifornistan, I try my best not to send any money to that state and others.

I ordered one Pmag for a friend of mine as a gift from them. It was one mag!!!! It took over 2 months to get shipped to me! I would think with all the AR junkies in this country these days, that they would keep a stock of Pmags! But NOOooooo! I'll never order from them again.

Sounds to me like they're running THEIR business with YOUR money, so it's a split between getting a good deal if you hit the day backordered product comes in, and them covering their ass with disgusted customers by charging a fee to cancel the order. You can make a good profit by charging somebody 3% of their order, as credit card companies do, so why not make the same 3% by just sending the money back to where it came from??

Brownells, midway, numrich, graf's, glockmeister, and a handful of others (mostly reloading outfits) are just so consistent i havent tried anyone else for online places.

Botach has had this same problem for years....and it never gets better.

Lots of places to spend your money....there is no reason to buy a bucket load of frustration.

Hmmm glad I have not had any issues. I have placed two orders with them for 5 pmags and have received my order within a week both times. Guess I dodged a bullet.
