Very Sad Story

When I was a sophomore in high school living on an Air Force base forty years ago me and a friend used to sneak out of the house in the middle of the night and walk around smoking butts, climbing the water towers and hangars and dodging the base police. One night about 3 in the morning my Dad caught me sneaking back in and gave me the ass-whupping of my life. Now I know why, I'm sure I scared the hell out of him. Dad had to qualify at the range every month but luckily he didn't keep any guns in the house or it might have been worse. My heart goes out to this family.

There is a difference between sneaking back IN to your own house, and donning a mask to BREAK IN to someone else's.

Incredibly sad. Still, if the kid has a ski mask on, one must accept that he may have been attempting to rob his aunt’s home. Death or great bodily harm should be an expected risk when one decides to rob another’s home.
