Esme Murphy: "concealed carry" = Bryn Mawr "massacre"

Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan says Andrew Engeldinger, the shooter in the Bryn Mawr massacre, purchased his weapons legally.

What Dolan could not tell me in an interview on WCCO-AM on Saturday is whether Engeldinger had a conceal and carry permit.

But whether Andrew Engeldinger had such a permit is one question I hope is eventually answered. Because it’s one the public and the victim’s families deserve to know.

Seriously ... how does a "journalist" keep her job, after something like this?!

Commentator. Not journalism. It's like Glenn Beck.

She's a network "news" anchor ... I had presumed the station might desire to portray such people as somewhat "impartial"?!

I thought Beck was a comedian?! :?

I'd like to know if the building was posted. If it was how did this happen in the first place.

So, who broke the story originally that this guy has a MN Carry Permit? If Dolan wouldn't say, and Hennepin Cty wouldn't say...who did?
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

The only news outlet I read it in was on MyFox9 from "...an unnamed police source..."

As far as I know, only Fox ran that in the news piece although it was picked up by bloggers.

I agree that Murphy's little editorial is largely irrelevant, but I think it's worth discussing how wrong he is. :D

It looks like people are tearing him up pretty good in the comments section anyway, and it's obvious to anyone with some critical thinking skills and the ability to do a bit of research that the guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
