Very possible. As mentioned earlier a car could force a motorcycle off the road. There were 2 motorcycles, therefore 2 witnesses to give their story against one on how the car forced the motorcycle off the road for no reason. So if this was ongoing and getting serious, going to a local PD was a good idea to try to deter the attack.

Like said before, we don't know details. But if it were me and I were trying to flee, Police station feels like a good bet. I hope we learn more about this one.

C'mon guys, we can get this to 5 pages easy before we have enough information to even have a clue about what happened, let alone second-guess the shooter.

I'm waiting for the guys twin brother to create an account just to plead the case and give us more depth on why this went down.

Definitely a curious case - I wonder if we will get the details at some point.

Except the east side of this building is the fire dept. Cops are on the west. Fight was in the east lot.

I hope the shooter gets some brownie points for heading to the PD...I also imagine the police / fire station has decent security camera coverage.

What's with the delay in releasing any info?

Immediate witness count is even, there were 2 people in the car.
"A 71-year-old man is facing felony assault charges stemming from a shooting in Isanti over the weekend as the result of an alleged road rage incident."

According to officials, four people -- two motorcycle drivers, a man driving a car and a passenger in that vehicle

I don't believe it was a defensive shooting situation but I could be wrong.

I was wrong. Never mind.

From the fox news story:
Officers say the man driving the car pulled a handgun out of the vehicle and shot the motorcyclist in the face.

Doesn't sound like much of a retreat...

This is only a small town rumor (and is in no way intended to be a fact) but its going around that the biker had a knife pulled on the shooter.
