New AR pistol

My first AR pistol built by David at Atomic Tactical. I shot the heck out of this pistol today and everyone that shot it or saw it including me thought is was awesome. This is just a small taste of what the guys at Atomic Tactical can do.

stamp it, slap a CTR Magpul stock on it, and then shoot the ever lovin piss out of the thing!

otherwise, pretty cool "pistol"

That is beautiful

Just about exactly what I want my SBR to look like! Slap some black ladder style rail covers on and, IMO, it would be perfect. *drool*

It is a great looking build. Is the KX3 consitered a forward grip on this pistol? if so, does it need to be registered as AOW?

The KX3 is a flash supperssor.

I was trying to refer to the Magpul AFG. When I built my pistol I was going to install one of these mag well grips and was told that it would be consitered a foreward grip and not allowed on a pistol unless I registered it as "any other weapon" with the ATF.

AFG is not vertical so its not considered a vertical grip per ATF Regulations.

You know, I dont know what the answer is to this. I will have to defer to one of the other board members or the guy's at Atomic Tactical to answer your question. I put the Magpul AFG on after they completed the build, so I guess I would like to know too so I dont get on the wrong side of the law.
