I'm legit if you guys are unsure of the link I cited in my above mentioned post. As I stated, when I did a web search of Northern Rifleman that was in the top 10 hits that came up and caught my attention. I am curious if anyone else has been having problems with him taking your payment, then not shipping the products you ordered to you. On top of that he does not return phone calls and on occassion will return emails. I'd just like some clarity to know if I will actually get my money back or should I pursue action through the BBB?

Thanks.

It might appear that the poster sought out MGT to bring attn to the web site.[/quote]

I am not seeking out management. I am addressing this to the individuals that posted earlier on this thread who claim to know Mike. I have tried to talk with "MGT" at Northern Rifleman, that clearly does not work unless I mention the BBB to him. Do I need to simplify my concern even further?

"MGT" = MnGunTalk, i.e. the forum on which you are currently participating - not "management"...

Since I only know him, and am not actually him, I won't be able to "help you understand all of this" - other than to say I am 110% sure you will eventually either get what you ordered or your money back. I've tried to reach him at times in the past and occasionally it takes a while for him to reply, but he always does.

This is speculation only, but I'd guess he's simply out of town - this has always been the cause of any delayed replies I've had. Maybe deer huntin'...?

I'm not going to try to talk you out of contacting the BBB - if you feel wronged, do what you think is right. I can only say that Michael is a stand up guy who I'm quite sure not trying to screw you on this...

It is deer season , give the man the benefit of the doubt. If you had such an urgent need to be coddled thru the sale, maybe you should have clarified that prior, in person or on the phone with your seller before sending the cash.

Buying guns is something I'd personally have to do in person because I , like you, have no patience ........and i like to see my cash leave one hand at the same time I receive my new toy in the other hand. I can't stand shipping anything. If the guy is a known mn gun guy here on the forums like it sounds that he is, give him another week for deer season to get over, call him and he'll take care of you I bet. ........so long as you don't run him thru the mud before then......then he might just return your cash and tell you to take your business elsewhere.
Anti-gun goofs fail to realize that if they melt every gun on the planet & I want you dead, a claw hammer would do the trick!! Then what? Ban claw hammers?

jgalt,

Thank you for clarifying. It has been several weeks that this has been occurring. Since before the MN gun deer season. Thank you for suggesting that situation to me.

To have payment accepted right away then three weeks later still having no updates, or clear explanation as to why the holdup has brought some concern to me. Having come across multiple forums where people claimed they did not receive their orders after payments were made had also brought concern to me thus why I wanted to consult with the individuals on here who stated that they know Mike.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
