The location is about an hour from Nashville. It would be a waste of a resource, but a scrapper there could make out pretty well.
This will be interesting to watch

ETA:
Bid is now $420.

To hire the load hauled should be less than $3,500.00

I think ya mean cubic feet.
1500 sq feet is real easy, 5 reams of paper, a backpack. 1500 cubic feet is a challenge

Yes I meant cubic ft......sheesh ;)

My money says that the last day the price skyrockets and it ends up in the hands of one of the larger ammo manufactures that sell re-man ammo. I'm sure someone at Black Hills and Ultra-max is watching this too.

Shooter115 - I think you mind is in the right place. This will get snatched up by someone who can use it.

It says a bunch of them are blank brass, correct me if I am wrong but I dont believe those are reloadable.

Your right 3000lbs of blanks that would get scrapped. But still, 25,000 lbs of 5.56 brass would fit my collection nicely.

I have watched several of these auctions go. They never go dirt cheap, in fact they tend to get up to just shy of scrap brass price to just a bit over. The smaller lots seem to fetch higher prices because more people can afford them and haul them.

We can all dream about these purchases, but we also need to do our homework and look closely at all the pictures.
Why?
Because some pictures show a large percentage of Blanks being included in the mix.
Blanks would have to scrapped!
Blanks are NEVER to be reloaded.
Look closely a knurliing/cannelure around base of case - that causes immediate case failure upon reloading.

But some of the 7.62 and 50BMG lots do look interesting.
My 1-ton Ford will haul 5000+pounds in the bed (but not legally).
I can dream too.
