Ist Anniversary Of MNGunTalk.com *AUGUST 10th*

Sorry I haven't posted an update lately, but I've been swamped. It appears that we have about 28 people including the maybes so far for attending. So if you are thinking about it or can make it get the count on the poll so we know how many will be attending. We need to know to determine a fee for attending to cover the range cost and food cost. Hopefully any left over funds will go to the website. We have 4 volunteers so far and could use more. I have started putting together the door prizes and will try and post a list tomorrow.

OK now the question is what to charge, Beaverbrook is charging $5.00 per head for this event. How do you all feel about $10.00 per person, should kids under a certain age be free or lower charge? We have some bringing dishes to share and at this point there is about 30 committed and or thinking about it. I will pick up hamburger patties, hot dogs and some brats and the buns when we get closer to the date, unless someone would like to donate the meat for this event. Any suggestions on how to figure meat for a large group is welcomed. We could still use a volunteer to smoke the wild pig ham I have. If anyone is thinking about donating class time or items please let me know.

Unfortunately, the availablilty of instructors dictated that our next "Last Chance" Tactical at the Carry Depot be on August 10th. Before I get hammered with emails, etc on trying to upstage or compete with the "Ist Anniversary", let me say that everyone's priority should be the Ist Anniversary. We owe it to Rucker and all those who have contributed so much - GO TO THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF MNGUNTALK.COM!!

If you happen to be in the Alexandria area (vacation, etc) on the 10th, please consider stopping in at the Carry Depot.

Jerry sorry there is conflicting schedule between the events, but we were very limited on the range availability. Your a class act..............
