3gun Nation cancelled

So it has started, we look like murderers for defending our 2A rights, and the media is going to ensure this.

I could understand them showing respect for what happened if they took a 2 week or month break from the show, for that very reason, but to cancel shows outright?

That is ridiculous. Might as well tell SPEED network to stop broadcasting every time a drunk driver kills someone.

...no doubt, and they'll propose regulations to ensure cars cannot speed, too. Ban hi capacity engines... make sure your Toyota cannot go 10mph over the limit in any zone, using gps tracking. And if it behaves in an unauthorized manner, it will be remotely disabled. Ew, the technology's there that such a thing could actually be done.

I don't take it lightly that NBC pulled the plug, because next if the Outdoor and Sportsmans channels kill their gun programs, we're only a small step from becoming an underground sub-culture. The public will grow up learning about guns from Call of Duty or the Bloomberg-Feinstein channel. Yikes.

NBC... isn't that owned by GE? As in GE Capital? So, would it be reasonable to think big banks are involved in this action? I'm sure Alex Jones would say that, but the last I checked, he says that about everything that it's all a coordinated big banker thing. I'm just wondering about this issue.

I take it that you guys don't watch NBC at all?

CNBC
MSNBC
NBC News
NBC Sports (ex Vs.)
Etc.?

They are a pretty left of center group. Media bias and all. Did you see any of their last 3 weeks football coverage? Essentially they took over a good part of their halftime show for one of their talking heads to make a left of center political point.

It is certainly their right, but to act all surprised when they ding a program with a positive use of firearms, well, then they are being consistent.

Right now, I suspect the political left would like to have 3 gun disappear; after all since "evil" semiauto guns have no sporting purpose, there is no reason to not ban them. Part of the divide and conquer mentality (we are not after you guys who hunt or shoot targets, surely you have no need of EBR's????!!!")

The link says they're canceling all gun related programing, and this is being re-reported all over the web, everywhere except on NBC Sports:

I think discovery canceled all their gun shows too. And the NRA took down their Facebook page.

ETA: maybe just American guns on discovery channel was canceled.

Well, this means three gun matches will be held using the following guns from now on.

1: Bolt action rifle. 1 round, reload, 1 round. Repeat ad nauseam.

2: 6 round revolver's. Hey, that might be somewhat cool.

3: Over/under or Side by side shotguns. I see a serious debate between these two groups on functionality and accuracy.

or maybe it will be like Japan where Airsoft is popular, nobody has a real gun, and murders continue unchecked by the true first-responders. But don't cash out your 401(k) and invest in airsoft just yet. We might win this yet.
