Time to organize a Militia?

If gun confiscation comes up from Crazy Joe, I think it may be time to organize something to fight against the Gov, and keep America Free. Anyone thought about this scenario or am I jumping the gun?

Yeah, you have to send letter sealed with wax by horse to the commander of said militia, long coat tails add zest and a hint of seriousness to said rider.

I doubt it would survive a constitutional challenge, as the right to bear arms and the right to assemble shouldn't be mutually exclusive, but the statute in question is 624.61 - Armed Association

It shall not be lawful for any body of persons, other than the National Guard, troops of the United States and, with the consent of the governor, sons and daughters of veterans and cadets of educational institutions where military science is taught, to associate themselves together as a military company with arms, but members of social and benevolent organizations are not prohibited from wearing swords. Any violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor.

That's pretty funny.

Not having seen any news today until a bit ago, I noticed that there isn't any mention of gun control on the front page. Wrench mentioned that it wasn't on the national or local news this evening either. However Arnzen Arms and the Gunstop were like dollar days at Target. Again, it looked like folks filling out a NICS for the first time. The walls at Arnzen's that held AR type guns a few days ago are nearly bare. Larry still had a few, but I'm starting to wonder where in the hell he stored them. The man has been squirrelling away guns forever!

Who knows maybe this is the boost that the economy needs!

If that day ever came, it would be a bad, bad idea to post about it on the Internet. Or to communicate with your smart phones. Or anything too technologically advanced.

Of course, in that day, I still won't be involved. I'm more likely to turn pirate (albeit an honest one) rather than rebel or freedom fighter.

It's not time yet. Write/email your reps...all of them...even the AntiGun ones. Let them know their constituents are watching them.
