Unless someone knows a place online? CTD is essentially sold out of .223.

Keep an eye on slickguns. Cabela's had PMC X-Tac 5.56 on hand for 40 cents a round last night... Back ordered now.

I checked about 6 or 7 walmarts today and all were out of the 100 rounds packs. A couple had 50gr varmint loads but that was about it.

That's expensive....Fleet Farm still had Wolf today, and Walmart has those same 100 round packs for $35

When ammo prices spike and shelves go empty in a panic, how much of the price increase is due to:

1. the retailer gouging us?

2. government manipulation (DHS has been known to buy bullets by the billions for no known good reason)?

3. us just being us - and all ramping up demand? us all flocking to the stores at the same time?

4. a few jerks who buy the whole pallet before we even get to the store, so they can just go sell at a higher price?

All of the above. My wife and I both shoot .223 but we have bolt action rifles so we don't go through thousands of rounds in a day of shooting. At most, it is 100 rounds per day. I have around 2000 rounds and am always looking for more.

Thought natchez sold wolf stuff between 4.99 and 6.99 per box depending what kind of ammo. No sense paying more because good brass cases stuff was between $0.32 and $0.35 per round and that is shipped to your door at that price.
