Hey Guys,
First, please let me say again that we really appreciate all of the support you have given our stores and rifle brand, Huldra Arms. Due to the recent situation, some have taken advantage of Fleet Farm's pricing and inventory. We strive to keep our prices competitive and it is our goal NOT TO RAISE prices on items we can control. Here is our stated position that we feel will allow us NOT to increase prices, but will fend off those that are inclined to take advantage of a bad situation.
“It is with regret that due to our inventories getting wiped out by individuals that are reselling these items at wildly inflated prices, we must announce this temporary measure: Mills Fleet Farm is limiting purchases of Sporting Rifles with detachable magazines to one of each rifle model per customer. We are also reserving magazine sales of up to 4 to those customers that have bought a rifle that is compatible with that magazine on that day. This measure is necessary to keep our prices low and our inventories available to our customers.”
This policy is temporary, until this get back to normal. Again it is our goal, NOT to raise prices. Recently, we have gotten some late night calls from our suppliers advising us that our cost to replace inventory is increasing. Due to these circumstances, some prices on products had to reflect the increased cost to us to replenish inventory. We have NOT raised the prices of any Huldra's, if our component manufacturers, JP VLTOR Magpul etc, advise us that prices are increasing then we may have to but it is not something we want to do or take lightly.
What has caused this was people coming to our stores, wiping us out of Pmags for example and then putting them on ebay for triple the price, or local stores using us as they new "supplier." We want to have products available for our customers who come and buy a rifle, for us to be able to offer them extra magazines as well.
Again, we greatly appreciate your support. If someone recently bought a Huldra and wants to buy some mags shoot me a PM or email and I'd be happy to see if I can help out.
Thanks again and we hope you are enjoying the holidays!
Dave
