Are you guys really supporting ammo purchase limits and mag purchase limits? I'll forward a link to this thread to Diane Feinstein and the Brady Bunch. They will be happy to know that they won't have much opposition from this "reasonable" crew.
It's Thursday, I have a cold, I'm old, and sometimes insensitive, so I apologize in advance if this is somehow offensive-
We have NO RIGHTS to cheap ammunition, mags, wanting to take up 3 gun next summer (at last years prices), etc. Or cheap gas, or milk, or daycare. Get over it and move on to something worthwhile. Really

Hi 45,
No we are not supporting purchase limits as you imply as if we are limiting or restricting your rights. We are putting in place a TEMPORARY policy of certain magazines to make sure we have products available to our customers who buy rifles. This is rather then a few people literally buying every magazine they can at our competitive prices (meaning we HAVE NOT RAISED our prices like some stores/sellers have) and put them on their shelves or sell them online for truly offensive prices to take advantage of panicked buyers. We don't want to raise our prices and we want to have product available for our customers to buy. I know some may be disappointed to learn they can't walk in and buy 100 pmags and then sell them online but we want to make our customers happy who comes in and buys a rifle and can also get some magazines to go with it. I do also know that several people, on here and other customers, don't do that and want to just buy a few mags for their own use. For that, I am sorry we can't help them currently, we would love to and are doing this so we can get product back in stock, keep our prices the same, and be able to continue to sell to everyone in the future. While I appreciate your feedback, comparing us to gun control, limiting rights, etc just isn't that same.
Also in regards to 3 gun, since I am a 3 gunner myself. If you come to a MN match that I am at, come by and say hello or squad with me. I'd love to see anyone get involved with this fun and challenging sport. I will even offer this, you come to a MN Match, such as SCAPSA in St. Cloud and I can be there, I will personally out of my own pocket pay your range fee. St. Cloud is a little closer for me then Minnetonka so I tend to make more of the St. Cloud matches. Or this, when we open our range we plan on having a monthly multi gun indoor match, you come to one, I'll pay your match fee there, your choice.
To everyone else, a sincere thank you for the support of our temporary policy, and our stores and products. We look forward to getting more stuff in stock and available as soon as we can.
Dave
Dave, I was not at all knocking what you are doing. I'm from the Ayn Rand school of thought and think a business should always do what is in it's own best interest. People too. And if everybody did that, the world could be a very productive, responsible and accountable place. Unfortunately, the world has more than a few who cannot stomach other people acting with more vigor and discipline than others. They seem to think they know better and want somebody other than themselves to do something about it. Some seem petty and jealous. And dishonest in that they are all about liberty, freedom, rights, etc -- until their ox is gored. Then they want some sort of intervention.
I think the current frenzy is silly and stupid, but am not whining that some entrepreneurial soul willing to spend his time and risk his money may be driving up the cost of stuff. Every deal requires a willing and able buyer, so I don't feel sorry for anybody. To be fair and transparent, I get to say that from the very comfortable position of late middle age, reasonably high disposable income, and being well stocked. I played the AR15 and ammo speculation game in the year before the 2008 elections and doubled++ my money in late 2008 and 2009 when a similar round of stupidity happened.
I clearly see that FF's policies are in what you consider to be your best interests, and applaud your efforts. It's a nice thing, and may be the first drop in an empty bucket of common sense. If I show up for a 3 gun deal, I'll let you pay for one of the whiners. I can pay my own way.
To all the haters of hustlers, entrepreneurs, gougers, and other unsavory and unseemly wheelers and dealers, be careful what you wish for . You may get it
