Ted Bunne

Postby Motoman on Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:39 am

I received this email this morning from a guy named Ted Bunne.

He used the email that I have posted on the MN BCA's website for approved instructor organizations, so I would guess some others on here received it as well.

Every American citizen who votes should have the "Privilege" to own one gun; a long gun, shoulder fired, maximum three round fixed magazine, bolt action or pump, 10 oz trigger; with safeties, 1. stock must be pulled tight into shoulder to fire, 2. 20 oz Push off safety button unlocks trigger and bolt or pump but automatically restores to "LOCK" before 12 seconds elapse weather round is fired or not. Every American Citizen who votes should have the "Privilege" to own, carry and use 12 rounds of ammo for their registered gun. When ten rounds are used, and only then, if the American citizen voted legally in the just past State or Federal election, may purchase a maximum of 12 ammo rounds that are specified for their registered gun that continues to meet the above design and function restrictions and that they have proof is registered as theirs, and, they must return the expired shells. Any modification to said gun or ammo claws back the gun, ammo, and the “Privilege” for five years. Any person or seller/provider found in America in possession of one or more guns that are not registered shall be prosecuted with the intention of removing any possibility of a re occurrence of said crime. A Federal licensed gun manufacturer and/or retailer will maintain serial numbers of any and all guns in stock and updated daily. No gun transactions allowed outside of licensed manufacturer and/or retailer.

My first thought is that someone is setting this guy up. With the name and phone number, one can find an address in about 12 seconds.
That or he is as nuts and unstable as that tattooed freak in the video, and thus be avoided.

Since he gave his phone number, why not call him?

Or catch him on blogger where he lists he has personality disorders (something to be proud of), or linked in, etc.

Had it half dialed and then realized work was not the best place to call him from.

Did anyone else get the email from him? Not sure why, but this is the first email that has upset me in a long time.

This was my reply to him.

Why not just ban all private ownership? I am sure the government can protect us…

I assume you copied and pasted this drivel from some left wing nut job website. Why are you sending this to people who provide instruction in the proper, safe, and legal way to use firearms?

Do you think I will read this crap and suddenly decide that you are right? Maybe we should just turn our guns in to the local police?

And what does voting in the current election cycle have to do with owning this fantasy neutered gun? What if I want to own 12,000 rounds of ammo?

Who are you to decide for me? Would you like me to decide which rights I want you to exercise, and in what manner? How about you don’t send email to anyone ever again? I would think that is a reasonable restriction on your right to free speech right? I mean really, who “needs” to be able to send out unlimited amounts of messages like this? Maybe we should restrict you to 12 email messages per year. And if you get replies back from each of those 12 people, stating that they want your emails, then you would be granted permission to send 12 more emails the following year. That sounds like a reasonable restriction, right? And if it saves just one child, it would be worth it.

Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither

Obviously. Because anyone who owns a gun, keeps a large stash of DDs for inciting violence and to maximize their murdering spree.

Maybe Ted could be talked in to allowing us 12 DD's apiece?
