Just confirmed with Nra that number is associated with them, he said to just check my credit card to see that the $300.00 is billed to Nra membership.

Background: We have a promotion where life members can sign up their friends/family for $300. Tom Gresham (@Guntalk) wanted a way to sign-up his listeners for that deal, so we gave him that number and he tweeted it out about 5 hours ago.

Yes it’s been quite busy around here!

It’s a full NRA Life membership so you’ll receive your credentials packet with membership card, stickers, lapel pin, information, Life membership certificate, information on the complimentary gun insurance and a&d benifit. Of course you’ll also receive your magazine from your magazine choice (rifleman, hunter, first freedom) as a free benefit of life membership.

This information should arrive sometime within 3-5 weeks. Usually it’d be quicker but with so many people signing up at this time a lot of the printing and mailing with naturally be delayed due to the volume.

Yes, it was a telephone number set up "for today only" to offer the listeners of Tom Gersham's radio show the opportunity to join the NRA at the Lifetime Member level for the "sponsored" rate. I don't know if it will be extended, so if you are interested you may want to "act now, operators are standing by to take your order".

I vetted it through the email conversation I had with Member Services and sounds like a couple of others got through on the phone to verify that its Legit.

I was going to put this money towards buying a new pistola instead I figured I would put it towards keeping those I already have.
