Yes, it is.

It's a really fun show, and the best darn home made pie and beef commercial in Southern Minnesota.

You all peaked my curiosity, so I looked at their policy: http://www.usc.k12.mn.us/school164/geni ... policy.pdf

They have a specific exception to their weapons policy for gun or knife shows held on school property. Who would have thought.

Quite a few years ago, a lady who moved to Wells from somewhere else found out about the gun show and started a petition to get it off school property. She turned out to be "sales person of the year" in Wells, and attendance actually increased after that.

It's a cool venue, but don't be surprised if you go out a different door than you came in - happens to everyone at first. There are 3 gyms and a cafeteria full of vendors - if you don't get to them all, that means you missed something and need to keep walking. Also, the lunch is all home made and is worth stopping for.

Its a great show. Last year was my first time there when invited by member "subwofer2".
You will get lost - it happens - but then you get to re-visit areas while trying to find new areas.
Plan on spending most of the day there.
I did not carry in school last year, probably won't again this year, BUT will be there to support them.

The way it stands today, the show will be posted at the door due to the rash of "accidents" at gun shows this year.
No loaded firearms in the building.

I've never been to a gun show, but the way I've seen some people handle firearms at the range scares me enough. Too many people out there just buy a gun and don't get any kind of basic training, and some that do don't continue it. Maybe it's just a habit for me to be the perpetual student because I'm constantly learning and getting certifications in the IT field and I like to learn about things that interest me.

No loaded firearms in the building.

If it is posted against carry under 624.714, this will be the first year.

Never been to the wells show, but thinking about going this march. How are prices there? Crazy like gunbroker, or more reasonable?

Spoke with the guy who books the tables last night, they are sold out of tables again this year and have even expanded into a new area of the school that has not been used for the show prior. Should be a good show as it normally is - very busy place.
