It'd be just about impossible to monitor or prosecute for the guns in private hands as of the date of the law, but anything you buy through an FFL after that will be accountable; once you buy it on record it should be in your possession until transferred out via FFL. It's a defacto registration system.

One of the thing he should of addressed is for the schools to do something about bulling in schools I know they are supposed to be on top of this but it seems like the schools sit on thier thumbs when this happens, twice it has happened to a couple of my grand kids different schools and grades and was complained about and nothing was done untill threatened with legal action against the school and the superentendent and then something was done.
If you look back on a lot of the killings and kids with hit lists its because of kids picking on other kids instead of the mentality of blaming guns and taking guns away from law abiding citizens

Sadly no mention of the Fort Hood Army Base shooting. You can bet that if the shooter was a white guy named Bob Smith or the like instead of Nadil Malik Hassan he would have added the dead there to the count.

I like how the Dems "care" about the children. Maybe they should clarify that to reflect the fact that they only care about the ones that have been born.

You can't. Unless you track(aka register) the firearm.

His list looks like the only thing it will accomplish is to add to our deficit.

I think we might be facing de facto registration here.

VERY scary.

Private sales was always a way to avoid them knowing what you all have.

I know a way we could reduce spending, abolish the ATF, and a few other agencies I could list.

Well, since I bought both of my pistols brand new, I had to file a 4473 and they know about them anyway, maybe I should "sell them" before anything takes place legislatively? I am looking for an XDS .45ACP if anyone has one for sale.

In his speech obama said he wants a military style weapon ban and a ban on mags over 10 rounds but he also said chances of getting it is very slim But the state is what worrys me, a new york ban is possable.

I just heard Bill O'Reilly advocate for REGISTRATION!

WTF!?!?!

He also just said he'd be in favor of making it illegal to cross state lines with "certain types" of guns.

And he claims he is supposedly pro-gun. WOW!

He can STFU now.

O'Reilly has a long history of being on the wrong side of gun rights. He is no friend of ours.

That's why we need to be contacting our state reps as well. They are well aware that its possible to lose both the MN house and the senate again if they piss off the wrong people. We have to let them know that *we* are the wrong people to piss off, and if they do that the service in their office will be in jeopardy.

Nope. No 4473, or NICS check required for face-to-face, private party sales at this time.

That's just fine my PF9 holds 8 and my vest holds 6 of those mags.......................................hmmmmmmmmmm 9 in the gun and 6 magazines totaling 42 rounds who care go ahead ban 10 + mags I don't care. Not to mention in MN you can carry more than 1 gun, so plenty of booolits for me! ;)
