5 (idiots) accidental shootings at gunshows yesterday

Un-bee-leave-able. Timing was also amazingly bad, given the national discussion on guns in our culture.

Accidental shootings at gun shows in North Carolina, Indiana and Ohio left five people injured Saturday, the same day that thousands of gun advocates gathered peacefully at state capitals around the U.S. to rally against stricter firearm limits.

The body count is still less than an evening in the hood or at Calypso Louie's Million Man March.
Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.

It's due the the panic buying and the sudden influx of inexperienced gun show buyers.... Or it could be libs trying to show how dangerous gun shows are. I bet there were more car accidents going to and from all of the shows...

I suspect they were victims of an auto-forwarding slide, all of them. :P

Anyone who has been to a gun show knows nothing there will make us look good. ;)

I won't go as far as 'nothing', but my enthusiasm wanes with every attendance.
I can't imagine what the very recent ones are like, given the current market.

"And in Ohio, a gun dealer in Medina was checking out a semi-automatic handgun he had bought Saturday when he accidentally pulled the trigger, injuring his friend, police said. The gun’s magazine had been removed from the firearm, but one round remained in the chamber, police said."

"accidentally pulled the trigger"

"accidentally"

I hate that word.

I wonder how many times this kind of thing has happened in the past - idiots who shouldn't own scissors let alone guns having a negligent discharge? I'm guessing the difference is that now every time any gun owner does even the slightest thing wrong, it becomes national news. Still though - idiots!
